SITE/FACILITY IMPLEMENTATION

Site implementation is the period where a project is being built. Once a set of construction drawings are fully developed, permits are acquired, it is then followed by on-site construction administration. As construction begins, the architect often acts as the contract administrator to protect the client's interests and ensure buildability by visiting the site, attending construction meetings, coordinating with the general contractor, reviewing submittals, reviewing payment applications, etc.
