Working with Nonprofits

During our many years of service, we have worked with, and supported many nonprofit organizations. Here at Watkins Architect, we feel it’s important to support those in our community to help make it a better place for our family to grow!

One organization we support, as well as provide architectural services for, is Mary’s Shelter. Mary’s Shelter is a nonprofit with the goal to provide temporary housing, while assisting young women with children to get back on their feet. Along with that, they also provide counseling and whatever is necessary to assist these young women.

In the past we have helped Mary’s Shelter with a number of projects, including renovating the building where they are housed. Last year, we helped them with another wonderful project! They renovated 17,000 SF of space at their current location into a space for homeless teens. This renovation included 20 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, offices and other support spaces.

Besides Mary’s Shelter, we also support Haven House in Allentown, PA, Prospectus Berco in Berks County, PA, along with many local organizations and charities! If you’re a nonprofit and you are looking for an architect to handle the designs of your next project, don’t hesitate to reach out. We have the experience needed to make it affordable for you!
